'me' always thought MOMMA wanted Sundays for peace and quiet. So, when Charlie Chan, one of his favorite cop mysteries, played from her room, he silently watched from the hallway. But after a suspicious interaction with his friend ben, me wonders if Charlie Chan was MOMMA's way of keeping him close.
